In the end of March 2021, the first signed memoranda for the introduction of business integrity standards became fact. They were signed between Transparency International Bulgaria and two entirely Bulgarian companies in the industrial sector, namely “Neochim” ltd, Dimitrovgrad, and “PIM” ltd, Haskovo.
According to the signed documents, the parties agree to work together to introduce standards for business integrity, developed by Transparency International Bulgaria in the management system of enterprises based on a thorough analysis of documents and management processes in enterprises.
Through the initiative "Business Integrity" the team of Transparency International Bulgaria actively participates in strengthening the role of the private sector in promoting the principles of modern business management in Bulgaria. The project seeks to introduce the principles of "good governance" in the private sector. This is changing the way businesses approach the issue of managing new challenges and distortions in meeting global standards of business integrity, including whistleblower protection, money laundering prevention, and so on.
