The directive aims to guarantee that companies report true and comparable sustainability information in order to redirect investments towards more sustainable technologies and companies.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some of the annually published information by companies will have to report about:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Environmental protection;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Social responsibility and treatment of employees;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Respect for human rights;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Anticorruption and bribery;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sustainability risk (including climate change) affecting the company\u00a0+ company's impact on society and environment;\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>More information on company long- term goals;\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new directive will affect about 50 000 European companies, 500 of which are Bulgarian.
