As an organization with special consultative status to one of the main UN bodies \u2013 The Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) \u2013 TI-Bulgaria strives to contribute to the achievement of the 17 sustainable development goals<\/a>of the ambitious UN plan to enhance peace, increase prosperity and eradicate poverty. These goals are globally recognized as essential to the future world sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our expertise allows us through the implementation of the Business Integrity standards to cover some of these goals. A working Business Integrity system strives to promote Decent work and economic growth (8), Peace, justice and strong institutions (16), Sustainable cities and communities through implementing standards<\/a>that could be audited and certified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Good management ensures effective, transparent and accountable businesses which require the same from the institutions. This method has been recognized on governmental level too through the adopted Public Enterprises Management Program based on the OECD`s Corporate governance principles.<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
